Hobie! The person who thinks we should take in more Syrians forgot to mention the fact that many Muslims are 'disappearing' from where they are supposed to be and be watched!
Ex. Catholic Charities agreed to help with Syrians in Louisiana, but they went somewhere else! Where? Why? What are they up to? When you can answer these with CERTAINTY, THEN you can bring in more Muslims. Otherwise the writer is an IDIOT!
I do not want my youngest granddaughters molested and murdered or made into sex slaves on the basis of what some lib-tard thinks.
As for shelter, I wrote for a Louisiana newspaper right after Katrina and there are plenty of things you can do for safe and cheap shelters. Have you ever heard of a wooden Yurt? Designed like the tent-type Yurts only built with wood and heated with heaters and solar panels,etc. Suggest you read up on the companies that build them.
Many Americans are building them for fishing cabins and get-away places. Why not use them for Syrians? You could house 8 or 9 Syrians for less than $10,000-some places less than $5,000. Check it out!
