When somebody shows small and pointing finger arranged in this way at you then, in my neighborhood, it is considered that he does not mean you any good. He probably would not have the opportunity to do it twice.
When politicians such as ex U.S. President Clinton, acting U.S. President George W Bush, and acting Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi show horns with their right hand at journalists and public during their official appearances, then this is nothing new. Frequently their job requires from them to disregard well being of some of their countryman as well as that of other people. They then say that this had to be done to safeguard the common good.
When artists such as Elisabeth Taylor and Paul McCartney, politician such as U.S. Vice President Dan Quayle (during the time his chief was President George W Bush's father), general Tommy Franks (when he was commander in chief of the U.S. Central Command that lead the American forces in Afghanistan and war on Iraq 2) during the press conference with his President George W Bush, next king-to-be of Great Britain Prince William (whose mother died in car accident with her never-to-be husband and whose father now is going to marry his true, whole life's love, Camilla), Tom Ridge Director of Homeland Security (while giving public statement), king Abdullah of Jordan (to the great satisfaction of Russian President Putin, or failed-to-be Vice President John Edwards do the same, then it indicates that this hand sign means something more. Much more.
Perhaps they all belong to the same group, club, society, or god as TV preacher Pat Robertson is.
Judging by the fact that most of them do not come from Texas what we see here is not traditional hand-signal of students and alumni from the University of Texas, used when they're cheering or hollering "Hook 'em Horns", and/or Texas football team fans. So this is not group or a club business.
The symbol we see flashed around here is a subtle display of the hand gesture known as the "Horned Hand" or "Cornuto". According to Fletcher Brothers (Satanism in America, p. 42) it is the sign of recognition between those who are in the occult.
The so called "satanic salute" goes back many centuries and, according to The Woman's Dictionary of Symbols & Sacred Objects, it is an "appeal to the devil".... "In antiquity it must have represented an appeal to the Horned God; then in the Middle Ages, an appeal to the devil. . ." (The Woman's Dictionary of Symbols & Sacred Objects, p. 308).
Satanist Anton LaVey is shown forming the "Cornuto" on the back of The Satanic Bible. The "Horned Hand" is also flashed during the Satanic Black Mass.
So, let's see that society part.
It is true that there is one society that is called The Odd Fellows, but none of this persons belong amongst its membership.
The average person has almost no knowledge of secret elite groups because there are very few sources of reliable information. Those among them which are somewhat more known to the public include the Bilderbergers, the Council on Foreign Relations, The Knights of the Garter, The Knights of Malta, The 33rd Degree Masons, the Rhodes Scholars, The Skull and Bones and the Trilateral Commission.
In his article "A Journalist's Introduction to Skull and Bones", journalist and writer Eric Samuelson, J.D., mentions the following excerpt from the story on George W. Bush by Skip Hollandsworth, published in May 1994 edition of Texas Monthly (p. 146):
"Although he did not graduate Phi Beta Kappa as his father had, he did follow his father into the university's Skull and Bones Club, a secret society for the males of prominent families."
Judging by the triumphal, frenetic flashing of "Cornuto" during the Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2005, that was performed not only by President George W Bush (which loves doing it any time, any where), but also by his wife, his daughters and half of the important part of the public that was present, they all looked certain that they have made their chief satisfied. If that is the case, they are obviously very pleased with him also.

A thickly forested mountainous ridge thirty miles long and two to five miles wide, Athos is the easternmost of the three promontories of the Halkidiki peninsula in northern Greece, known as Agion Oros, or the 'Holy Mountain' in modern Greek.
The religious history of Athos goes back long before the birth of Christianity. The great marble peak of Mt. Athos (6670 feet, 2033 meters) was mentioned as early as Homer and Aiskhylos as being the first home of the Greek gods Zeus and Apollo before they moved to Mt. Olympus. Pagan hermits have lived in the deep forests since prehistoric times for it was known then, as it has been forgotten now, that places where the ancient gods had lived still held great powers for humans.
According to historical sources however, Athos first became a refuge for Christian hermits and anchorites in the 6th and 7th centuries, and during the 8th and 9th centuries these hermits began to gather together into small monastic communities.
The era of the great monastic establishments began with the founding in 963 AD of the first and most renowned of the monasteries, the Great Lavra, on the southeast coast of Athos. Under the protection of the Byzantine emperors, the building of monasteries flourished until, at its zenith in the 15th century, Mt. Athos harbored 40 monasteries and some 20,000 monks.
Currently more than 3000 monks live amongst the17 Greek, 1 Russian, 1 Bulgarian and 1 Serb monasteries and forest hermitages of Athos.
