Last night I expressed dismay over the U.S. missile attacks on a Syrian airbase and I speculated that Trump appeared to have been duped into a rash act by a false flag operation. I repeated my thoughts that the gas attacks in Syria made no sense for Assad or Putin and almost had to be a false flag.

I was wrong. Though the gas attacks by Syria still make no sense whatsoever, it appears that there is conclusive evidence, including eyewitness reports and radar tracking that shows that the gas attacks were indeed carried out by fixed wing Syrian aircraft from the same air base that was attacked by our Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Rather than the U.S. missile attack being a rash act by a duped President, it was, in fact, a swift and decisive action by a strong President who was visibly shaken by the cruel killing of babies and other innocents. The attack was also a measured and proportional response and it is being correctly applauded by world leaders and politicians on both sides of the aisle.

Though I am greatly concerned about any U.S. military action in the Mideast - where we had no business being in the first place - I am jumping off the false flag bandwagon and withdrawing my criticism of President Trump. Unlike his feckless predecessor, Trump has shown that he does not need to draw a false red line to take swift and strong action - a message that is surely creating doubt in Russia, China, Iran and North Korea over the wisdom of challenging the United States. There is indeed a new sheriff in town and, unlike Barney Fife Obama, he has bullets in his gun and is not afraid to use them.
