Like a woman who has suffered a genuine, brutal rape, today's crime victims often lose after the dust of court matters begins to settle. The continued ridicule of the victim by the attacker seems to be allowed in many cases. In the case of Becky Bieker whose husband Jon was killed in an attempted robbery of their store in 2015, it's happening again; after losing her husband in the shootout she is now reportedly losing her business. It seems the lawyers and courts financially drain the victims so badly nowadays that the focus becomes a nightmare of continued defense even after the original attack on the victim(s).

One of the four gunmen robbers who was wounded in the original shootout with Jon has reportedly threatened to file suit against Becky for being wounded and partially paralyzed. There should be some kind of firm law standard that precludes the perps of such violent acts from being able to file any civil damages like this. This is getting to the point of class warfare. Why should the robber(s) be able to file like this, and, is it just because the victim(s) are/were white? One victim is deceased and cannot defend himself in court for survivor's business. Thus far that lawsuit has reportedly not been filed.

This case reminds one of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area jogger who was hacked to death by machete attacker, then his widow subsequently suicided. Lose, lose, lose....it appears some are targeted to lose, lose everything. Death frequencies? Debbie Reynolds dies just after her daughter dies!!!!!

If thugs continue shooting up the stores and clerks there may not be many more brick and mortar stores left.
