Now Available! Juries and Jury Nullification in Law and Practice
I have a lot of news and new content that I'll be sharing with you over the next couple of weeks as I get more and more material from our recent FIJA road trip online.
Today I am in the process of editing video from the successful and informative panel on Juries and Jury Nullification in Law and Practice at the recent Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences 2016 Annual Meeting. FIJA advisory board members Roger I. Roots, J.D., Ph.D., attorney Paul Grant, and I all presented papers at the conference.
I video recorded these presentations, and I'm now working on editing and publishing them on FIJA's YouTube channel for further educational value. I'm pleased to report that the first of these is available to you today!
Dr. Roger Roots kicked off the panel with a discussion of the unique government crackdown on fully informed juries through its apparently recent strategy of carving out a new First Amendment exception to undermine FIJA activism:
