How is a former 'working girl' to go straight unless the local law allows her to stay in the town where she secures new employment? That is certainly a theme which must have dotted America from time to time over the years.
Actress Constance Towers portrays Kelly in the unusually good low-budget film, 'THE NAKED KISS' where she has determined to make a new start in life. This film has more to offer the viewer than some films which costed millions of dollars more to shoot. The number of what I call 'life lessons' in this one story is impressive, so in keeping with my former post that I would, from time to time post important films, here is a real shocker of a story.
Although there are mature themes (prostitution) and dark issues (pedophilia), this film has no actual nudity or sex acts shown, etc.. With an integrated cast of players this film was progressive for 1964 times.
The children are so cute and adorable singing in their pirate outfits.
