They did the same thing to my Uncle and to my Father. Piss poor care but the nurses were good. I took him, for an emergency visit, to a regular hospital. The treated him (immediately I might add) and then told him to go to the VA hospital for follow up. At the VA, we spent an entire day (10 hours or more) waiting while he writhed in pain on a Gurney. Sickening!

WHEN YOU GO TO A VA HOSPITAL for care do not take no for an answer. If you do not demand care they will put you off forever. The Doctors are Jerks. Most of the Nurses are pretty good and will try to help you out. I have had two good Doctors but they quit in less tan a year. They told me that they are not going to put up with the bullchit from the hospital over seers.

My last good Doctor was a Multi Multi Millionaire. He wanted to help the Vets. He told me a couple days before he quit the VA that they would not let him do the Lab Work he needed Or the Different types of X Ray scans that he needed to diagnose a Vets problems so he could help them. SO HE QUIT.

I went to the Chief Medical Officer about a problem I had with A Doctor. She talked to the Doctor and she told me that he admitted to everything I said. She told me ,I cannot put up with these crybaby idiot Doctors and I am getting the hell out of here.

Within a week she was gone. This is the bullchit a vet has to put up with. They almost killed me two times with medicine errors so you damn well better watch them or you will be dead before your time.
