The news account of this deplorable, criminal and disgraceful practice is eye opening. At least this paralegal was investigated and charged. I cannot understand why his bail is so low given the number of crimes committed and the magnitude of this criminality! The article quotes the judge's interesting comment: "He was arraigned by Acting Supreme Court Justice Thomas Farber, who set bail at $25,000. Farber said the matter was a "very bizarre case," adding, "where are the lawyers on this?"

Well, Justice Thomas Farber, I believe some attorneys are doing the same as this paralegal in areas of America!

This is the same type of criminality that has been going on in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, except I have been advised by another Monroe County, PA attorney it is lawyers who may be forging judges, or former judges signatures! Where is a victim of this criminality to go with this happening to them and their family? Where are the legitimate investigations and prosecutions of those committing these crimes? Especially, in the HOA criminality and foreclosure frauds and property thefts in places like Monroe County, Pennsylvnia? Paralegal Indicted for Forging Signatures of 76 Judges

"A former paralegal at a personal injury firm forged the signatures of 76 state Supreme Court justices to create more than 100 bogus judicial orders in structured settlement matters, prosecutors allege.

The Manhattan District Attorney's office said Thomas Rubino, while a paralegal at Paris & Chaikin, forged 117 orders that purported to be judicial orders authorizing the transfer of structured settlement rights.

Rubino, 42, pleaded not guilty during an arraignment Wednesday on 117 counts of second-degree forgery and 117 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Both are D felonies, which carry statutory maximums of 2 1/3 to 7 years.

According to the prosecution, Paris & Chaikin, a personal injury firm, also represents structured settlement companies in the acquisition of structured settlement rights."
