Casseroles have been a staple in struggling homes for centuries. They got us by when we were kids and they will get us through now. They are easy fast simple comfort food that satisfies empty bellies and picky pallets. It’s time to revisit Granny’s kitchen for some of her super cheap meals.

Ingredients:
6 to 8 ounces Diced Ham or Other Meat (Hot Dogs will Work)
2 cups Cooked Pasta, Potatoes or ….
2+ cups Veggies – Peas, Corn, Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower …
1 1/2 to 2 cups Shredded Cheese
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Spices or Fresh Veggies to season – Onion, Peppers, Mushrooms, Celery …
2 tablespoons Butter or Bacon Grease
1 ˝ to 2 cups Milk
3 tablespoons Flour or 1 ˝ tablespoons Corn Starch
