I have observed the same thing. I do a quick calculation for % deaths and it's still very LOW. I have been watching Infowars a lot lately in fact I watch it religiously and for many years now since I hooked back up with them. I did take a long break from it a number of years back for reasons that turned out to be dubious at best.
They have been hyping this virus thing up a lot BUT I figure it's best to lean on the side of caution. Only time will tell if they are on track with this thing ... I say this because in the last few days there have been posts saying the exact opposite ! IT's all over blown and a HOAX ! I know someone in Hong Kong and the last time I spoke with her texting on Skype she said all was well.

Well I haven't heard from her since ... and that was Feb 6th ... not a peep since then. I wanted to order an electronic chip from her and she has gone silent ! This is very odd because she is very good about getting back to me fast.

I am quite worried about her at this point ... she is my go to girl for finding hard to source electronic components so I can repair STUFF so folks don't just go and buy a new one! Trying to keep perfectly good stuff OUT of the LANDFILLS and or being shipped back to China for recycling INTO the AIR.

And guess what ? ... I am NOT a FLAMING environmentalist ! I just think electronic stuff that breaks down should be made to work again for usually far less than HALF of the cost to buy a new one. This keeps China from recycling garbage into the air and also keeps them from cornering the markets for electronics.

I might as well take this even further ... in my work fixing STUFF made in mostly Asia, specifically China ... I have found that built in OBOLESENCE ( SORRY FOR MISPELL and caps) ... has been very OBVIOUS ! Power supplies are their favorite targets. Example ... A resistor that limits current that would cause catastrophic melt down (if it fails) is under rated for the job and so over a short time ( a few years ) the device fails. Most resistors of this nature cost LESS than a dollar or in a few cases may cost up to say $5 absolute max. Same goes for power transistors ... they short out because of under ratings OR just poor Quality control.
Another great example was a Samsung TV I fixed. The owner bought the TV from the store and it's backlight was set to absolute maximum. So after only a few years, the transistor that switches the power for the backlight burned out. So ... I put a new one in and it burned out in less than 2 days ! Cheap garbage replacement ordered from China ? YEP ! So that's when I discovered this flaw ... back light setting was set to MAX ... so the rating for that transistor was not nearly high enough to run the back light at max.

Do I need to go on ???
It is soooo freakin easy to engineer electronics like this where it will break down ... JUST before the warantee expires usually.

So all you out there who would like to see LESS OF OUR ELECTRONICS garbage ending up in landfills OR back to CHINA FOR RECYCLING INTO AIR ... please take note of this post ... which got waaay off topic.
