The truth is that in today's America we don't own anything.

We don't own our home, or our automobile, and not even our children are truly ours as parental rights can easily be terminated by the courts, as has been done so many times.

Do you think you own your home? What evidence do you have that you do own it? Most people would answer that they have a deed that is in their name. However, a deed is NOT a title and is in fact only "evidence of conveyance". Read if carefully and you will see what it was that was conveyed to you, nothing more than a "fee simple estate". And what is a fee simple estate? In Black's Law Dictionary we find that a fee simple estate stems from the old feudal days of kings and lords and is "a form of tenancy". That's right, the only thing you own is a tenant's right to occupy the property subject of course to all of its encumbrances, easements, building restrictions and of course the annual payment of property taxes which amount of tax due is set entirely by them each year. Fail to pay that tax and you can no longer occupy the property. It is only via a land patent can you obtain allodial title to property.

As for your automobile, the original and true title is the MSO (the manufacturer's statement of origin) which you are tricked into signing and turning over to the state during the act of "registering" your automobile after you are then given in return a "certificate of title" which is NOT true title but only a receipt for the real title that you handed over to the state. This is why they can impound and confiscate your automobile for any number of reasons without giving you any due process, because you legally do not own it... the state does!
