This video of Trump with Epstein looks like Trump was his older mentor and he was tutoring Epstein on activity with women. At one point their friendship was minimized, but before that time Trump has been known to spend a great deal of time with Epstein in New York and Florida. However, that still doesn't prove that Trump was doing the same things Epstein is accused of doing for many decades. Both of them are known to have paid off women in sex cases. In one case Epstein paid out $5.5 million to three ladies that accused him of underage sex. Trump had a full time attorney that was dealing with a constant flow of court cases and accusations against Trump, and they were settled out of court. The most well known case was the Stormy Daniels case which was settled for $350,000. However she was an adult. A court case was filed in New York against Trump and Epstein both by two ladies that were underage during the alleged rape. But they dropped the case in 2016 saying they had been threatened to such a degree they were in fear of their lives. Another case was brought against Trump in Florida where an alleged rape took place when the girl was 13. But that case was also dropped. It is not known if there was a secret settlement or if the woman that brought the case was simply lying about the incident to make money. To this day we still don't know how many women filed court cases against Trump. But Trump's attorney was finally arrested and sentenced himself and turned against Trump. Here is info about that case:
A US judge sentenced Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to 36 months in prison for a variety of crimes that include tax evasion, bank fraud, and making illegal ‘campaign contributions’ by means of his payments to Stormy Daniels, who alleges she had an affair with Trump in 2006.
Cohen claimed (blind) loyalty to Mr. Trump led him to "take a path of darkness instead of light."
I was weak for not having the strength to question and to refuse his demands," Cohen said.
Cohen claimed he was "motivated by personal greed and ambition," adding that he(Trump) "thrives on his access to wealthy and powerful people," and eventually became one his self.

I brought up this case so people can understand that these activities, and accusations didn't just pop up out of nowhere. Trump had lawyers handling these cases on a daily basis to protect his reputation. It is also something that the wealthy and well known people have to deal with. There are always some people out there that will accuse someone of something to make a pile of money. Even if the claims are not true the wealthy may settle out of court with money to simply avoid the bad press coverage.
As far as Trump is concerned I still don't see compelling evidence that he was doing the same things Epstein has been doing for decades. There have been some dramatic accusations of underage sex against Trump but nothing that can be proven in court. But the pattern of how he treated his attorneys when they got arrested makes me have doubts about his character. He threw them under the bus, allowing them to take the fall for him - while he denigrated them verbally - and then he carried on unscathed. That is disturbing. And those acts and behaviors aren't allegations, they are facts.
When the Epstein scandal erupted, Trump and his team got ahead of the scandal by having press coverage to deal with the issue. His talking points were laid out expertly to distance himself from Epstein and say he was "not a fan of him and that he hadn't seen him in 15 years, and that he had kicked him out of the Florida resort years ago". Then he went on a political rally soon after and let the dust settle. The next day the situation with Iran came up with an Iranian drone being shot down near the Straits of Hormuz. So far the sex scandal has been handled and Trump seems to be in the clear. However, the judge did refuse to allow Epstein out on bail, even though it could have been a $100 million bail amount. It also appears that the thousands of pages of indictment papers will be released to the public regarding Epstein's case. That event may reveal dozens and even hundreds of other wealthy elite and powerful people that were involved with Epstein in illicit sex with underage girls. That massive amount of information may be like a dam bursting open and the ramifications may still come back to expose Trump's deeper connections with Epstein. The Epstein arrest is like Pandora's box being opened and the after effects could have widespread and long lasting effects on the political system.
