Streetlights Removed Here - Kids Chasing Schoolbuses in the Dark Now!
Inasmuch as today's government schools (some call em 'public schools') are so defective and phony one might think to disregard the matter if one has no children or school-aged children. However, it's difficult not to notice a glaring deficiency in the safety of those school kids who must chase school buses in the early morning darkness.
It should not be accepted that kids who rise up to go to school in the early morning darkness should have to walk or run to a school bus or bus stop without some street lights to at least provide some basic lighting for good footing and for personal safety.
In this editor's neighborhood the streetlights were removed from these nearby intersections on this road and on the rare instances this editor has arisen early in the morning these school buses can be seen out here picking up the kids in the dark! This editor phoned the power company authority who is supposed to take calls on such matters at the appropriate number for streetlight outages. The person taking the call did not want to help and referred the editor to another power company. After finally contacting the source that accepted calls relevant to this district, and, after finally going through local county government, etc. and getting nowhere, the editor reached a person on the phone who literally sounded miffed to have to be the one to deal with the issue of the removed streetlights.
After explaining the problem the bottom line became; the editor was asked for a contact number and could not simply remain a good citizen turning in the outage. So what is the number there for to turn in streetlight outages?
One must now become an official complainant or complainer and go on the record as a possible 'disgruntled troublemaker' in order to get results. Who wants to be on that list?!!! No one I know would wish to go there.
The end result is - nothing was fixed or replaced. The one big light mounted up high, way across the subdivision reminds one of some guard shack outpost on a concentration camp or other. It is too far to light the streetcorners where the buses go and actually distracts the vision and gets in one's eyes as one might try to see directly ahead. That one big guard-light is not a good substitute for the corner streetlights.
They're too cheap to provide for the basic safety of these kids, but they can afford to have $217,000.oo or more hacked and stolen from just one ISD of the many wealthy ISDs around here! Was it really hacked and stolen or was it simply 'raked off' and cut up? Oh brother!
Removal of the streetlights allows perpetrators and agents acting under color of law to sit out on the street there, unobserved as they radar the hell out of residents here. They can hide in the dark, so to speak, and it becomes evident that it is more important for them to determine your wealth, financial status, and general situation than to provide streetlights for neighborhood safety of 'We, The Forgotten People'.
This removal of the streetlights is a scam. It goes along with the general timeframe the Smart Meters were introduced out here. This scam corporate 'whiz ant' cabal government is such a lame piece of excrement.
