fwd: "Beware: aspartame as a sublingual delivery mechanism"

Hi, Folks -
Founder of Mission Possible, Dr. Betty Martini, sent this out to her distribution list:
=====
Dear David,
Basically aspartame is a sublingual killing machine.
So good to hear from you. I seemed to have missed your email when it first came in. What worries me is that since aspartame has caused the obesity epidemic people think its sugar and have swapped over from sugar to aspartame, especially with the sugar taxes.
I know what you mean about hospital problems. I was given generic drugs with aspartame which interacted with other Rx and I stopped breathing three times. http://www.mpwhi.com/iatrogenesis_aspartame.htm Then a physician on checking told me all generic gastrointestinal drugs have aspartame.
I finally took the time to write Johns Creek Hospital about the problems with aspartame, as well as a copy to the Board of Directors. only to get back a short note they hope the next stay will be better. They completely ignored all the death dealing problems.
In many cases generic drugs are changed to be chewable or sublingual so they have an excuse of needing a sweetener. In a pill you simply swallow why would you need a sweetener? Therefore, its intentional.
FDA Commissioner, cloaked in power
This may be you richest hour
Ignore he masses, deny their hope
Simply approve our newest Dope
I'm going to add your note to the list so people will be warned.
All my best,
Betty

On the surface that sounds like a "good thing". What I learned is that they use aspartame to either stabilize and/or transfer the aspirin molecule (they had tried sugar, but it didn't work). Hmmm...

But my sense is that it will not stop there. If aspartame is viewed as a convenient stabilizer and molecular transport, it might end up being used for all kinds of drugs that are used "routinely" rather than just for rescue application.
