If Dr. Steve Pieczenik statement that there has been a coup is accurate, the plotters would automatically be the enemies of the Republic. Whether they be domestic or foreign enemies the Republic must be defended. Since the military takes the oath to defend the Republic from all enemies foreign or domestic they must act.

If they wait till the election is over and Hillary wins it will be hard to act against what will be the will of the people. Unless it can be proven that the election was stolen through crooked voting machines. Which could happen. This would be clear evidence of a coup. Again the military must act. But short of proven election fraud it would be hard for the military to act.

On the other hand, if Trump wins there may not be the need for the military to act, unless the traitors try to escape. A few have stated they are going to leave the country if Trump wins.

Personally I favor the oft published plan for the military to act, postpone the elections, have Ryan serve as interim president, hold the elections on Jan.3rd and the inauguration of the new president on the 20th per the constitution.
