Compression artifacts in video, especially the eyes which are small and high contrast are not indicative of shape shifting. To compress video it is divided into blocks that are multiples of two. It then averages the pixels per block to create the color it should use. Aggregates of similar or same colors in adjacent blocks are again summed to average. This is how the immense amount of data in a digital image can be streamed at 30+ FPS. If the eyes are at the edge of one of these grid blocks and move to another block from frame to frame you will get what is claimed to be eye shifting and transformation. That does not reflect the actual reality but are merely a digital artifact. This is similar to the second sun when the second sun is always found at the parallax point of the lens focus and is again an artifact of the imaging apparatus.
