In general I agree with your comments re: what makes a film or memory card go black / blank. This applies if we think of the conventional methods which Human Beings are exposed to, or more so the "In the Box" type of thinking applied by Humans.

However, what happens inside a Depository is something that has been around for decades, is quite harmless, but extremely effective.

I am prevented from disclosing exactly what it is for obvious reasons.

It should also be noted that each registered depository is "Booby-trapped" to prevent anyone other than the registered custodian or the International Treasury Controller from entering the depository. Many people have already paid with their lives trying to access several depositories across the world, because they were unaware of the "Booby-traps", or more specifically the types of "Booby-Traps" employed. That is how everything was set up following the 1920 London Treaty, and that is how it will remain well into the future.
