Are Smart Meters in the Same Category as Flint, Michigan’s Leaded Water? Deliberate Crimes Against Humanity
In the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area there’s a tremendous show of support and solidarity for the people of Flint, Michigan, being forced to drink tap water that was contained with lead (Pb) for a year, perhaps more. Several Philadelphians have taken it upon themselves to conduct bottled water campaigns, which netted thousands of bottles of water. They even drove a truckload of bottled water to Flint, and then delivered it door-to-door. That’s how the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, shows its concern for others!
That concern has not stopped with ordinary citizens. Philadelphia leaders also got involved and showed their support. [1] PA State Representative Vanessa Lowery Brown is on record as saying, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” recalling the words of Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
However, Minister Rodney Muhammad probably sized up the Flint water crises more accurately when he said, “This is not a government mishap. This is a crime.” [1] Muhammad inferred that yellow crime tape should be strung around the perimeter of Flint city! Councilwoman Helen Gym said the Philadelphia City Council is joining in the national outcry for the Department of Justice to conduct an investigation.
What happened in Flint was not an environmental problem, it was a man-made crisis and man-made crime. [1]
Let’s take that last statement just a bit further and apply it to all the issues citizens have to suffer with and from due to “man-made crimes,” especially AMI Smart Meters that are forced on everyone and their homes under the guise of “saving consumers money.”
To do that, however, consumers will have to use electricity—a necessity of modern life—during off-peak hours like 2 AM maybe. Who wants to do laundry, run the dishwasher, or watch their favorite TV show at 2 or 3 AM, day after day in order to save money of their electric bill? Or, maybe the utility company will send a “brown out” or shut off message via the AMI Smart Meter into your house and appliances so you will have forced savings by experiencing no electric power nor working appliances, including air conditioners in summer.
Saving money is always the bugaboo involved, as it was in the Flint water debacle. Officials and public relations people know that “saving money” always sells any idea or project, no matter how off the wall it truly is—just like nuclear power was to be so cheap [6], you wouldn’t need a meter on your house. What’s your recent electric bill like? The meme or buzz word rather recently minted is “smart.” Flint city officials wanted to save money so they switched Flint’s water supply [2] from Lake Huron [3] to the Flint River [4], which jokingly has been called “General Motor’s sewer”! [1,5] Smart?
Maybe everyone should regard the Flint, Michigan, water crisis as a “canary in the coal mine” harbinger that, hopefully, drives home the fact that citizens really have no say, but must pay—literally and figuratively—for the problems government agencies, bureaucrats, officials and legislatures/legislators saddle on to the legal, financial and emotional backs of people, plus the Planet and environment.
Anyone who’s done their due diligence, research, homework and found out what officials don’t want known, or contradicts vested money-interests like the pharmaceutical industry, are considered conspiracy theorists and smeared to the hilt with all sorts of ad hominem remarks and professional dirty tricks—sometimes even an early demise, or so it seems. How many conspiracy theorists were there in Flint, I wonder, before the muck hit the fan?
Similar neurological health problems to lead (Pb) unfortunately are brewing nationwide with the forced installation of AMI Smart Meters microwaves and dirty electricity, which utility companies, states public utility commissions, the media and industry astroturfers deny exist.
There is more than ample medical and microwave information published challenging business, industry and government agencies to sit up and take notice, then listen to what citizens are complaining about: Non-thermal adverse health effects from microwave technology that operates cell phones and towers, Wi-Fi (especially in schools harming children and teachers [9]), microwave ovens, and mandatory utility AMI Smart Meters for electric, natural gas and water customers to interact with the Internet of Things that is planned to take over our lives [7].
What happens when the entire country similarly faces Flint’s horrible position concerning water, but it involves electricity—there’s no electric power because some terrorist or high-school hacker took down the grid? Safety issues exist with AMI Smart Meters: Their microwave network is extremely porous and meters can be hacked. They are not constructed with safe materials like the analog meters were: glass and metal parts. There are heat-sensitive and combustible plastic parts in AMI Smart Meters. Numerous house fires are on record as being started by AMI Smart Meters.
There are plenty more, but I have to stop somewhere.
Even though there’s a risk of your house catching fire from AMI Smart Meters, that risk is ‘nothing’ compared with the almost certain adverse health effects from microwave EMFs and RFs being sent onto the electric wiring in your home, condo or apartment.
Flint’s unfortunate and disastrous water problems may wind up looking like a ‘piker’ compared with the damages from AMI Smart Meters, I offer.
