I love whole wheat. I love wheat in all its forms. Here's my reply.

The Good News: Several acquaintances that also have 'gluten issues' have reported no problems while in Europe or North Africa. Over there they don't drench their wheat in RoundUp just before harvest like they do in USA and many other places. Eat Organic is the answer.

The not so good news. I sprayed Round Up once a month or so on my acre in Hawaii, being very lax about it. Opinion over there is that it is not very toxic. I sprayed bare legged with flipflops on my feet. Seldom washed up afterwards. Simultaneously, I developed three chronic symptoms:
episodes of little water blisters on abdomen, thighs, and back,
watery diarrhea, heavy night sweats.

These I had chronically for years until one day while feeling really bad after eating pizza, I decided to drop wheat. Since then I have occasional periods of no symptoms (hurray, no itch, and normal stool!), HOWEVER my immune system must have become super sensitive to GYSOPHATE. Many foods will reactivate the symptoms.

These days my no-no list includes peanuts, sesame, soy etc etc.
I dream of sour dough and english muffins and drop biscuits, but frankly, if I even SMELL them cooking, or toast toasting, I will get the itchy blisters for a couple of weeks. I am your Monsanto Bubble Boy, age 73, PhD multilingual health nut, basically a bananarian.
