VISION:

The eye can bring the fine print in a phone book into focus, or focus in on the moon over ¼ million miles away. The ciliary muscle changes the shape of the lens - (this is called accommodation). It relaxes to flatten the lens for distance vision; for close work it contracts rounding out the lens. Many people will develop an eye condition called presbyopia. As we age, the ciliary muscle and crystalline lens lose their elasticity. This is why most people need reading glasses by their 40's.

SALTS:

"Salts (electrolytes) are stored in all the system.--- muscles, fat, etc.

The lens of your eyes has little muscles on it. The way you look, far away or close, those little muscle make the lens contract and stretch or elongate. Too much stored salt, after a period of time, causes the lens muscles to become hard and they can no longer stretch or contract. When this happens the ability to look far or close is lost." NOTE: Table salt is only one form of electrolyte. Other forms are: Chlorides (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, etc;), Non-Chlorides-Proteins (ammonium nitrate, nitrate nitrogen), Non-Chlorides-Metal (copper, gold, silver, aluminum, etc;).

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

Drinking a lot of water will flush out stored salts and doing regular eye exercises will help improve vision.
