I don't think we did, back then. But I do think we have been since. A very selective 'visit' allowed by our overlords.

Did we really go to the moon? At a recent NASA press conference a reporter ask "When will we return to manned space flight to the moon and mars?" The NASA scientist responded, " We currently do not have the technology to pass thru the Van Allan Radiation Belts!" This was also posted on this site! Also when Grumman, manufacturing of the Lunar Lander delivered the first one to NASA, they were pissed to say the least. At an emergency meeting with Grumman officials they explained that the lander was full of particles, some microscopic. If they astronauts breathed these in in a weightless environment, their lungs would fill up and they would die. Now if you look at the pictures of the astronauts on the moon, a great deal of them have their suits covered with moon dust, which they would breath and die once back in a weightless environment. The specs show no vacuum cleaner on the lander and it would be impossible for them to wear the suits in the craft anyway. There is a good interview on you tube with one of the astronauts,(I don't remember his name),but he was ask what type of extra protection did they use going thru the radiation belts. At first he stated he did not think they went thru them at all and then after it was explained to him what they are,he said "I guess we did!" Now how could an astronaut not know what the belts were/are, but not realize the danger? It almost seems he was not prepared for space, but really was prepared for acting on a movie set!! Obviously, either NASA is lying today or they were lying back then. Both cannot be true!!!
