'The End' - "(At) The End (Of A Rainbow)" Earl Grant - VIDEO - Excellent Voice & Phrasing - Comment & Brief

Earl Grant was a talent that is gone too soon. He had a tremendous voice and excellent phrasing and sounded much like Nat King Cole. According to the write-up he sang the title song for the very moving and dramatic film, 'Imitation of Life'.

In a day and age of rushing from one gig to another it's not always easy to get enough rest between performances. That may have contributed to the unfortunate accident which caused Grant's death at 39 years of age when his car ran off the road at or near Lordsburg, New Mexico in 1970.
