As Rayelan suggested early in the spy plane debacle, Bush appears to be either attempting to turn the China/Taiwan issue into the Iraq of his administration--or planning for open warfare.

It seems that Clinton's assignment was to arm the Chinese & gut the U.S. military: his successor-puppet seems to be following through by inadequately aiding Taiwan in its own defense, leaving no option but direct Sino-American confrontation in the near future. Tactically feasible and plausible, since Chinese plans for aggression would not have been ripe till about 2005. BUT, niether would the plans of the Faction Two operatives regarding the territorial & power shifts in the EU (reclamation of the five
eastern states, a winnowing of the western arrangement to a German/Austrian dominated MittelEuropa, weeding out of the Social
Internationalists, esp. Britain, France, etc.) necessary for their Empire to reborn.

Of course this was to coincide with the return of Russia to revised Soviet status, in order to balk the One world govt: perhaps Bush/others are trying to force Russia's hand--provoking
them into acting prematurely and on their own initiativ, rather than under F2's direction?
