Toward the end of the Reagan presidency there appeared a ghostwritten autobiographical work on Duarte entitled, My Story (I think I'm remembering this correctly). I read it about the same time I read Don Regan's (sp?) expose of Nancy Reagan's horoscoped Whitehouse antics.

Duarte was presidente of El Salvador supported by U.S. The book was an exercise in Reagan/Duarte right wing apologetics.

I'm thinking, and my point in bringing up the Duarte book, is
the answer to the San Salvador embassy building and earthquake questions posed on this forum may be found in dealings between SanSalvador and Washington during the Reagan presidency.

Is the Bush family trying to undo some secret Reagan legacy?

A movie worth watching is W.C.Field's "Million Dollar Legs." The Olympics and a Balkan country coincide with much humor. Great song and dance by the Mata Macree character. The song sounds a little like the Doors' "People Are Strange."
