It has occurred to me again that one of the best tools that your enemy has is for you to give him feedback on how he's doing.
For this reason, if the Times Square video is disinformation, it is not a good idea to give the producers feedback on how to make it better next time.
I knew better than to post my detailed critique here, but being something of an amateur movie critic, my ego got the best of me. So, let me start over.
Yeah, I totally believe it. I'm scared.
Really, though, it doesn't seem to matter what we do. As I see it, we are in a deeply interior convolution of an extremely convoluted and humongous blanket. There is really nothing to argue about here of any importance. The only solution is to staighten out the entire blanket--not argue about one of the particular wrinkles in it.
The excessive centralization of power in our federal government is the problem. The United States giving up its sovereignty to other elements in the world is the problem. Divisive racial politics, which the mass media encourages without exception (hence their extreme and obvious disappointment in the Jesse Jackson school flap, and their subsequent criticism of Mr. Jackson, after he said it was NOT a racial issue) is the problem.
