According to Kim Young-Sam, he barely cajoled, threatened, and argued Bill Clinton out of mounting an air and naval bombardment of North Korea's nuclear facilities at Yongbyong in June of 1994.

Warning that a bloodbath thar would kill tens of millions would erupt, Kim refused to commit one single troop to Clinton's effort to wage a war against the North on his turf.

The conflict was temporarily defused, of course, by buying the North off with light- water reactors and western fule which could be more easily inspected. Until of course, such a conflict is convenient for Clinton and his masters.

Korean Missiles) was floated. Will it be Dec. 7, 2000? That is the optimum time for Taiwan to be attacked (between Presidents). Will the two coincide? Or will we see further conflict in the Koreas sooner rather than later, both to distract us from the imminence of the Chinese confrontation and to surreptitiously step up military presence in SE Asia in preparation for it?
