Project Echelon and the private project echelon has recently shown that the multinationals, in particular IBM has been using it to win large contracts from world governments from Brazil, to France and to Argentina.

Consider the IBM story, about two years ago IBM was bidding on the contract for the major bank in Argentina, Banco Nacion.

In their bid it was discovered by the Argentinean authorities that IBM paid off over $50,000,000 in bribes.

One would say, that's big business or business as usual. However their was another twist. The Argentinean Government discovered that the plan for these illegal payoffs stemmed from Armonk NY, the headquarters of IBM. Also the IBMers in Argentina that the Government wanted to talk to were immediately recalled to NY.

Argentina, via Judge Bagnasco, tried to have these individuals brought back to Argentina for questioning. However IBM would not allow it. Also when Argentina tried through the USA's DOJ to have them brought to Argentina for questioning, the DOJ was in IBM's corner and did not allow this. But allowed only for a statement to be issued from the USA by the IBMers.

During this time the main witness, who had allegations of money laundering and payoffs, who was Argentinean was found hanging in Argentina, with a newpaper article stuffed in his mouth about the story. It was deemed a sucide.(?????)

Judge Bagnasco traced the pay offs of over $37,000,000 from Uruaguary, to Luxemburg to some main NY banks.

Has of this date nothing was done to help rectify the wrong. IBM with its great influence in our governemnt can do anything and get away with it.

Why is the governemnt protecting IBM? Well remember the Promis code. The computer system that IBM sells to these second and third world countries has the capabilities to monitior all finanical transactions, and IBM uses it for its own self business advantage and hides under the USA National security whereby our government tries to monitary all transactions...via Echelon.

There is one thing we should always remember... crooks will be crooks no matter how good the monitoring technology is...and the end does not justify the means....MURDER, AGAIN.
